This has always been the most beneficial element to the LinkedIn profile in my own opinion…

It’s little wonder that some people choose to send an email instead of trying to hold a conversation. After all, people often are looking at their computers or smartphones when you try to speak with them.
Forty-two percent of the readers who responded to a recent Communications Briefings poll said that’s their greatest annoyance when they try to talk with someone…

Several years ago I read a book, at the direction of the CEO of the company for whom I was working at the time, called “Raving Fans” by Ken Blanchard. This book has shaped many of my views on the value of customer service and has been a benchmark against which I can compare my experiences over the past 20+ years…

I’m a female marketing consultant. I always greet new clients with a firm handshake. I generally don’t do anything in subsequent meetings with people I already know. My question is, how should I greet my regular clients? Should I shake…

I remember as a child my mother saying, stand up straight, shoulders back, chin high. What I didn’t realize was that she was telling me this because of what I was communicating to her with my posture and shoulders. I was nonverbally saying, “I am having a bad day because my friends can’t come out and play…

I’ve been working with an early learning program in Washington as a non-profit consultant, with a focus of building a sustainable system that will shape a solid foundation for early learning success. Forming a coalition of organizations that rarely work together isn’t easy, but when done right, can have a significant positive and long lasting impact on a community…
